Situated on the Inland scenic route [High way 72] and only a short drive to Mount Hutt ski field and the Ashburton Lakes /Lord of the Rings country.For a longer drive Geraldine is only 30 minutes away and the Gateway to the beautiful Southern Lakes . The cottage accomodation is totally private set in a beautiful garden setting in the grounds of the historic school house built in 1876. 20 minutes to Methven and 1 hour to Christchurch international Airport. Not suitable for infants/children.

Homebush Cottage is part of the 130 year old former Homebush School, located on the Southern Scenic Route, 8kms from Darfield township and close to popular Skifields, Lakes and amazing tourist destinations, thus making us the perfect stopover. The cottage is set on 3 acres including beautiful rambling gardens and tennis court. The Cottage is super comfy and suitable for a couple. We provide a self catering continental breakfast including free range eggs from Brown Shavers !!!

Rakaia's premier budget accommodation. Fully self contained unit situated on a 1/4 acre section which contains family home. The unit is situated in the Rakaia Township, within walking distance to shops, Cafe's and Pubs. Only 45mins from Christchurch and 20 mins from Ashburton. Rakaia is the Salmon Capital of NZ. Mt Hutt Ski Field is only an hour's drive away, book for your winter ski trip, Mountain Biking, or try out the new hot pools! Motorbike friendly accommodation.

Near Burnham (Military Camp), Rolleston, IZone and the Selwyn Equestrian Centre. Self contained (en suite) accomodation which is part of a professional equestrian facility (sadly there are no horses to ride; but you can bring your own). As this is a working equestrian facility you may hear life starting around 7:30am.
