This home is a spacious converted barn with 2 bedrooms, and kitchen/family room, studio, loft and one bathroom. It is set in the woods just a few miles from Lake Superior. Being off the shore of Lake Superior has it's advantages--it is quieter and at night so dark that if it is clear you can reach out and touch the millions of stars in the sky. The grounds are ample with a large covered patio and fire ring. Reservations less than 2 day prior please message us we will do our best to accommodate.

Apostle Islands Area Suite

Our lodging is located in Cornucopia, WI onsite to Lost Creek Adventures, a kayaking outfitter and only 4 miles from the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. In the summer, we are a bustling outfitter - join us for a sea kayak tour or just relax at the beach. During the off-season (mid-Sept to mid-May) there are plenty of hiking, atv, and snowmobile trails in the area as well as local restaurants and beautiful sights. We are right across the street from Lake Superior and boast a beautiful sunset.

A mature forest and a beautiful pond are what you'll see when you arrive at this cozy, secluded, full log cabin. The cabin was recently completely renovated (Mar/April 2025)from log to log and is stocked with everything you'll need for your stay. It has all new appliances, furniture, fixtures, bathroom, cabinetry. 💚 It is the perfect homebase to relax after a long day of hiking Frog Bay, Houghton Falls, Lost Creek Falls, Meyers Beach, or shopping in nearby Bayfield, Washburn, or Cornucopia.

Wild Pines Cabin: A-frame w/ Lake Superior views

Enjoy off-grid vibes while being right in the heart of the North Shore. Located 5 minutes from Split Rock Lighthouse, Wild Pines Cabin is a completely renovated 1974 a-frame that sits atop 40 private acres overlooking Lake Superior. During your stay, hike through the property, catch glimpses of wildlife, sip coffee by the fire while taking in the sunrise over the lake, or step out to nearby Gooseberry, Black Beach, or Tettegouche. Visit Bayfield 20 min away or take in the quirky, small-town of Cornucopia and then come home and take a sauna in this peaceful forest! The cabin has an occupancy limit of 2 adults and one dog ($50 pet fee). A SUP board is stored near the beach for guests in summer.

This cabin was built for family gatherings and a recreational retreat and has been in the family for years. We offer a place to sleep 4 with a pull-out couch, full kitchen, bar area, dining table and a small bathroom with a shower and sink. We also have an outside hydrant to rinse off your equipment or clean your fish and game. Be on the lookout for Moose, Deer, Bear, Fox, Grouse, and many of birds and listen for an occasional Timber Wolf in the night. Trailer parking is onsite.
