Located just 20 minutes drive from Aberdeen International Airport it is a highly accessible countryside location with local amenities and beautiful attractions. Explore the local area and see the seals at Newburgh beach just 2.5 miles away with adjoining golf course. On the farm there are cattle, sheep and arable crops. The grass fields surrounding Ewe View often are home to the cattle and sheep.

The Tower, Thornton Castle

Traditional & relaxed accommodation in the 16th century Scottish tower of our family home. Accessed by a spiral staircase your space comprises 2 bedrooms for 4 people over two floors in a private wing of the castle with bathroom and small sitting room. Full breakfast included. Set in the foothills of the Cairngorm National Park, this is an ideal stop off between Inverness and Edinburgh. Balmoral Castle, Dunnottar Castle, Glamis Castle and St Andrews are nearby. Tennis court available.

Secluded chalet on a quiet family farm

The chalet is a private, secluded and rustic place with plenty parking beside it for other Airbnb guests. For the colder months there is a woodburning stove with free firewood. It is situated half way between Stonehaven (10mins) and Aberdeen (20mins), there are supermarkets nearby & many tourist attractions. Ideal for couples or families with 1 or 2 children, cot available. Relax in the Hottub while gazing at the stars reflecting off the sea, surrounded by open views over the Aberdeen “New” harbour you can watch cruise ships coming into dock. The cottage is within the grounds of a lighthouse and only steps away from the beach. The situation of Seabreeze offers some of the best opportunities in Europe to spot dolphins and whales. The recently refurbished property offers simple, stylish interiors sympathetic to its sea views from the windows.

Beautiful views from a great vantage point on Bennachie this rustic cottage is ideally located for hillwalking, sightseeing or simply getting away from it all. Only 10 minutes drive from Inverurie and a short walk over the hill from the pitodrie house hotel which offers luxury dining and a cozy bar. There is also a riding school nearby and of course all the walking trails are on your doorstep. We are pet friendly but the garden is not enclosed.

The Bothy at Aikenshill

Located on our family farm. The Bothy at Aikenshill, is a modern, spacious cottage over looking our fields of highland cattle and The North Sea beyond. With ample parking, our 2 bedroom bothy is comfortable and well equipped with underfloor heating and an electric wood effect fire. The kitchen, dinning, lounge host all the requirements for a comfortable self catering stay.
