The Desert Willow House: An A+ Accommodation!

This cute home boasts a very peaceful and classy vibe. It is located in the heart of town on a quiet street. The master bedroom, with a queen bed, has its own Roku TV and its own full bathroom. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and a TV with a Roku. Bedroom 3 has a double bed. The couch has a queen sized memory foam mattress that can be pulled out and made into a bed. This house just invites you to rest and enjoy your time in style as you slow down in our cute little west Texas town of Ballinger!!

Kick back and relax in this calm, just-remodeled space under the oak trees in historic Buffalo Gap. The master bedroom was a 1-room schoolhouse from the 1890's to 1914, where "Miss Sallie" Young taught (after she retired from 54 years in Texas public schools). After many additions and updates, it's now a quiet part of a Church Camp property (which you're welcome to explore). Perini Ranch Restaurant is nearby, as well as several other great places to eat - not to mention Abilene is 8 miles away.

This cozy cabin escape is perfect for solo travelers or couples seeking a secluded, safe, and affordable place to unwind. Designed for comfort, the space includes a queen bed, a private bathroom, and a functional wet bar equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. While it doesn’t offer a living room or kitchen, the retreat provides everything you need for a comfortable stay including fiber optic internet and WiFi. Pets are allowed but limited to one (1) under 35 lbs.

Secluded railcar and caboose with incredible view

Quiet and peaceful setting overlooking Elm Valley just 9 min from Buffalo Gap. The fully renovated railcar and caboose are connected by a large back patio that boasts one of the most spectacular views in Taylor County. From the 1940’s this building is one of the few remaining original second story residences built over a 1st story business. Downtown, this suite is walkable: coffee shops, bars, restaurants, art galleries, yoga studio. 2 blocks to Shannon Medical Center. 1 block to Performing Arts Center. 350sf for 1 or 2 people. Includes a queen bed, full bath, fridge, microwave, toaster oven. Open concept with lots of light. No living room/seating area but perfect if you're on a budget and on the go!
