The Conductor's Cottage, escape to Waterval Onder

The Conductors' Cottage is a converted railway house that offers beautifully furnished accommodation for up to six guests. Set in the grounds of the main farmhouse, there are three cottages in total. The Conductor's Cottage has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, lounge & outside deck area to enjoy. There are views of the hills of Mpumalanga Province as you sit on the verandah. We are a working farm with resident sheep, geese & pigs. We also have four boxer dogs that are part of the family

The Bakoni Hide-Away, Schoemanskloof

The Bakoni Hide-Away is an off-the-grid retreat, ideal for a romantic getaway for lovers of the African bush. Unfenced, it is set on a remote spot on the side of a mountain with abundant birdlife, buck and other game around. The design was inspired by the many stone circles that occur in this region and the Bakoni people who are believed to have roamed the area in the past. It is ideal for couples and 2 older children can be accommodated on the mezzanine floor if privacy is not a requirement.

The Homestead, Walkersons Estate

Welcome to The Homestead@Walkersons The house has an open plan dining area, living area with a fireplace & kitchen, which is perfect for entertaining & family gatherings. The estate (at over 7km2) has mountain springs, forests & waterfalls. There are fantastic walking, cycling & running paths including trail paths on the Wildlife Reserve. The Estate has a runway & Helipad that can be used if arranged. The house is cleaned on Tuesday & Thursdays, other days can be arranged at additional cost.

Stone Cottage at Dombeya Farm

An enchanted stone cottage in Mpumalanga located within a magical farm setting, surrounded by giant trees alive with birdsong. 3 hours drive from Johannesburg. 45minutes from Mbombela, Nelspruit. 15 mins from Ngodwana. An ideal location for nature walks, dips in the river, and sundowners at twilight. Relish your evenings in front of the fire with a gentle lullaby sung by hooting owls. Collect your farm fresh eggs from Matilda 🐔 and enjoy your coffee in Ebba's 👩‍🌾 vegetable garden.

Comfortable country cottage, situated on a working farm with arts centre, totally off the grid, eco-friendly, solar power, gas stove and gas geyser , fire place, covered braai, WIFI (guests top up), alarm & security installed. Beautiful place to re-connect with nature, open spaces & big skies. Trout dams on property, space for long walks, hikes & mountain biking. 8km on a dirt road from Machadodorp, 30km to Dullstroom.

Sabie is situated the doorstep of the famous Panorama Route.. Visit the Graskop zipline and Gorge swing, God's Window is breathtaking and worth a visit, Bourkes Luck Potholes a must see. Numerous waterfalls on the way to the Blyde River Canyon with spectacular viewpoints. The Kruger Park is a mere 58 km away on safe roads entering at the Phabeni Gate Close enough for a day drive to spot the Big Five. Sabie has all the essential shops, supermarkets and excellent restaurants.

Self-Catering/Pet Friendly

This old favorite, offers panoramic views, tranquility, and privacy. It boasts a fenced garden and spacious stoep for braais and sundowners. Adventure seekers can hike the mountain for a breathtaking vista. IMPORTANT: Regrettably, the Stone Cottage lacks electricity due to transformer damage from a recent storm. The repair timeframe is unknown, but we have a generator on hand for your convenience. We apologize for this inconvenience and assure you that we're pursuing alternatives.

Palmietfontein Cottage, Holingsberg Fly Fishing

Happy to say the road has been repaired after the rainy season. Holingsberg Palmietfontein Cottage is the ideal break away for family and friends. It is close to Dullstroom but totally secluded, with a lovely dam at your doorstep. Explore the farm on foot, mountainbike, or visit the quint little town of Dullstroom close-by. Relax in the evening in-front of the fireplace, enjoying your favourite drink, talking about the day’s fishing and beautiful scenery.

Eagle View Five

Eagle View offers exclusive self-catering accommodation in a stylishly decorated contemporary, open-plan cabin located on Beumont Farm adjacent Walkersons Private Estate, 15km east of Dullstroom. Modern, secluded open-plan cabin designed for serenity. It features a king-size bed, indoor and outdoor showers, cozy lounge and dining nook, fully equipped kitchenette, fireplace, braai facilities, and wood-fired hot tub. Accessible only by 4x4 vehicle.

Ilanga Game & Fishing Lodge

Ilanga Game and Fishing Lodge is a self-catering lodge located on top of a hill, in Dullstroom Country Estate. Ideal for a family or group looking for comfortable lodging with serene views, away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
