The loft above has two twin beds for extra sleeping space for kids or guests. Outside, enjoy peaceful pond views from your private hot tub, gather around the fire pit, or grill dinner on the charcoal BBQ while enjoying the quiet East Texas setting.

Our two cabins Dogwood and Holly are located on a quiet, wooded 10 acre retreat that is 8 miles from Athens. Our special feature is a spring fed creek that flows year round and has it's own micro climate that is perfect for native ferns, mixed hardwood forest and dogwoods. We have provided a nature trail for bird watching and exercise. Recently we designed and constructed a beautiful pond with three waterfalls and a deck overhanging the water with chairs for enjoying our private paradise.

We have a wonderful 5th wheel to stay in during your visit to the area. We are located between Canton TX (for 1st Monday) and Athens TX(Texas Freshwater Fishery, etc.) The Oak Castle Winery is only a few miles away. The 5th wheel is close to us in a quiet neighborhood. It has great air-conditioning, heat, is clean and can sleep up to 6 people. We provide clean sheets, towels, a coffee maker, coffee and fresh eggs. Anything else you need is only a knock on the door away. Please Come see us.

Our guests frequently notice our deer and other woodland creatures who share this space with us.
