Our piece of paradise is situated on the edge of the water in the Athenree Village (north end of the Tauranga harbour). The modern upstairs apartment is yours exclusively. From here you can: watch the sunrise over the water; enjoy the ever-changing view of the tide; watch the varied and rich bird life; or relax while reading or playing games from our library. The North End Studio is a purpose built studio unit, with a separate entrance along a private boardwalk. Well thought out and with some homely touches it has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The kitchenette is equipped with a 2 burner induction cooktop, microwave, grill press and BBQ, perfect for self catering. The studio has extensive wrap around decking for al fresco dining, surrounded by beautiful native gardens, perfect for that relaxing afternoon drink.

Homewood Cottage

Homewood cottage is situated in a private garden behind the main homestead “Homewood”. Homewood was built in 1876 by Dr Thomas Fletcher and was the original farm house in the area. The cottage was built in the early 1900s when the property was owned by George Alley a well known philanthropist. Guests can enjoy the private lawn and garden around the cottage, and wander down the hedgerow to the pond overlooking the Tauranga harbour.
