선물같은 하루 (숲에서 맞이하는, 민주지산)

‘선물같은 하루＇는 충북 영동군 민주지산의 도마령 기슭(해발 700m) 숲 속에 위치한 체험형 숙소입니다. 노부모님을 위해 지은 목조주택(달밭집, 2005년)과 가족들이 직접 지은 흙집(소영당, 2006년)을 리모델링(2020년)하여 집 전체를 오롯이 한 팀의 손님들만 머물다 가시도록 준비했습니다. 최근에는 울숲의 신갈나무 6~7미터 위에 트리하우스(울숲집, 2024년)를 짓고 이 또한 무료로 체험할 수 있게 했습니다. 체험은 전통문화체험과 생태체험을 유료 및 무료 체험으로 나누어 다양하게 제공하고 있습니다. 흙집은 우리네 선조들의 산골 너와집처럼 달밭 주변에서 얻은 나무와 흙과 돌로 지었습니다. 아궁이에 불을 지피는 체험을 할 수 있고 코는 시원하고 등은 따뜻한 전통가옥의 지혜를 느껴보실 수 있습니다. 흙집 방문 상인방에는 '선물같은 하루'라는 글귀가 새겨져 있습니다. 이곳을 찾는 모든 분들께 '선물같은 하루'라는 소박한 선물을 드리도록 노력하겠습니다.

Red Clay House experience the countryside of Jeju

A rural house built with red clay on a large land in Susan-ri, Aewol-eup, full of the sensibility of rural Jeju. A large lawn yard where you can enjoy the countryside and a beautifully built loess mud house between beautifully decorated flowers and trees. You can enjoy a spacious wooden bench in the country yard, oak wood barbecue. The Red Clay House is a nature-friendly house. It has a fireplace inside, and the ceiling is made of glass, so you can see the moon and stars at night.

Mountain Villa - Stone Cottage

A restored stone cottage at 3,300 ft in Vagamon, Kerala. Off-grid eco retreat on five acres of forest — solar and wind powered, farm-to-table meals by Chef Anoop, no television, and real quiet. The cottage was once a labour shed on a working estate. Original stone walls, comfortable interiors, a verandah overlooking the valley. Not a resort. No pool, no spa. This Solar Energy House is in the quiet residential area 3-minutes-walk from Zenkoji-Temple. It's very comfortable, using natural material insulators. Hosts live on the second floor and the entire first floor is for guests. The main entrance is shared with us and guests can ask anytime. Enjoy the relaxing wooden interior and solid wood floor.
