Two bedroom / one bath cabin on 100 ft of shoreline. Two twin beds, one king bed, and two pull out couches. Air conditioned, fireplace, and Wi-Fi. Parking with boat and RV hookups, private V-Dock dock with 8x8 sundeck and swimming ladder, firepit, free firewood, charcoal grill, and spacious yard for activities. Incredible fishing, a complimentary canoe, kayaks, and swimming with beautiful view and sunsets. Big Stone Lake on one side and wildlife/farm fields on the other...remote and comfortable.

Cabin #5-The Cottage

Tranquil getaway with home comforts including furnished kitchen w/appliances, Farm style seating for 4, reclining loveseat, queen bed, beautiful bathroom. Cute front porch, side patio w/table for six, portable firepit. Surrounded by trees/privacy fence. Available year-round. Queen bed, linens/towels. Housekeeping not provided unless the stay is more than one week.  At that time, we will clean the linens/towels & entire space & charge an additional $25.  Same weekly pattern for extended stays.

The Mulberry House

Located off the south shore of Big Stone Lake and 2 blocks from downtown Ortonville and Artie's Bait Shop.This property is the ideal location for lake visitors. Ample parking for ice houses, boats, recreational vehicles etc. Three bedrooms: 4 Queen +1 Full bed; 1.5 baths. Newly renovated, all new furnishings, appliances, mattresses, and linens. Large stocked kitchen with utensils, dishes, cookware. High speed wireless internet.

This cozy cottage has one private bedroom, one bath and shared sleeping in the living area. Enjoy the sunrise from the large front deck, spend the day at the beach, followed by dinner on the patio of one the great restaurants around the lake. And finally watch the sun set from the private backyard while sitting by a fire.

Quiet Family Cabin... on the Lake!

Cozy well equipped cabin on the South Dakota side of Big Stone Lake. 37 feet of shore line, minutes from dining, groceries, and Hartford Beach Recreation area. Guests will enjoy a private 40' dock and the location is a kayaker's and wildlife lover's paradise! Enjoy grilling on the over sized deck, take the 4 available kayaks (2 adult, 2 youth) out to explore the historic Big Stone Islands, or share a campfire in the firepit on the patio! Boat ramp very close to the cabin. Fiber internet!

Sportsman's Country Lodge: The Roost in Ortonville

Conveniently located only blocks from the grocery store, bar and grill, and the Ortonville boat ramp and cleaning station. This home offers 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests. There is off the street parking, an outdoor outlet and a fish/game cleaning station in the backyard (We ask that you take your fish/game scraps with you for disposal). There is also a great view of Big Stone Lake from the back yard where you can enjoy time around the fire pit.

Steps from a private beach, guests can relax by the water, enjoy sunrise and sunset views, gather around the firepit, and enjoy private dock access to enjoy lake life. The cabin is within a 5-minute walk to Barsness Park, the public beach, and the Lake Minnewaska boat landing. Close to downtown Glenwood to explore local shops, restaurants, breweries, and more. Please note: Cabin is not handicap accessible.

Green Acres

Beautiful cozy country home located on 12 acres in a great farming community. Looking for a quiet place to relax and reconnect with family and friends. Welcome to Green Acres, a beautiful renovated country house with a spacious kitchen. We offer a fun swing set, large sand and water box for kids, indoor and outdoor toys for kids and adults, along with much more. Large finished garage for extra entertaining. We also offer a golf cart for riding around out beautiful spacious yard.

Little Mill Road House

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. You can jump on a bike or take a walk on the tarred path located right across the road that leads into the Big Stone Refuge. Ortonville has Big Stone Lake great for fishing and our area is also awesome for hunting. We do allow pets but if left by themselves in the house please kennel them. There is one bedroom with a queen size bed and a murphy bed and futon in the living room. Plenty of parking for boats, trailers, etc.
