The Tranquil Treehouse is the perfect place to unplug, relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature by the lake! The large deck is a great place to read a book, grill out or enjoy a morning cup of coffee! Even rainy days are peaceful at the treehouse due to the natural lullaby of the rain on the red tin roof. The lake is only 150 yards from the house. We have 2 kayaks for guests on carts for the short walk to the shore. Come soak up the sun in the crystal clear water this lake is famous for!

There are four lakes and the Treehouse overlooks Lake Winnamocka. The house is 35 feet in the air accessible by stairs but with a cargo lift for luggage and groceries. The bath is tile with heated floor and tile shower. There is a bidet, washer/dryer in the full bath. The kitchen is modern. There are 3 porches. Master bed and two loft bunks.

Your windows from your room are connected to the ringtail lemur and ruffed lemur enclosures! There is also a fire pit, playground, and a ton of hiking! A 25 minute drive to the University of Arkansas if calling the Hogs is more your style! We are a short drive to Lake Fort Smith state park here in Mountainburg for fishing or swimming in the pool. We have a beautiful deck, a comfortable bed, and grill for you to cook your favorite meals.

Glamping at its finest! Forest Garden Yurts are wooden yurts designed and built by Bill Coperthwaite in the 1970s for Tom Hess and Lory Brown as home and pottery studio. Tucked away in 4 acres of Ozark forest, the yurts are simple in nature yet abound with artistic details. The home yurt has a kitchen, bedroom, and a nook living room. The bathroom yurt is separate but has a covered walk. Unconventional and unique, with hobbit hole doors and low clearances in places.
