Centrally located, the cabin is a great base for exploring the surrounding towns or hiking the breathtaking mountains of Maine. Whether you are looking to escape the chaos, get in touch with nature, or work remotely, make this year round peaceful sanctuary your next escape.

The Nest at Camp Skoglund

Sitting 125 feet from the east shore of Echo Lake is the Nest at Camp Skoglund. A cozy cottage for two with all of the amenities you will need. Your deck provides a wooded view of the lake and we offer a fully equipped waterfront for your relaxation and fun on the water. A fire pit is also available. If you need lodging for more than 2, please inquire about our other cabin, Pop's (also on AirBnb). We are open seasonally starting in early June until Columbus Day or later depending on the weather.

Lakeside Cabin

Hear and see the loons from the comfort of this screened in porch. There is a trundle bed that pulls out on the porch for those that would like to lay out there , read , and listen to the birds. The cabin built in 1944 was the second structure built on our property. It is in between our boathouse and the main house. It is unique and rustic. There are two bedrooms and one bath. A small bar. A private dock and a shared beach area. There is taxidermy in the cabin including a half mount Grizzly.

Crystal Pond Cabin

This is a beautifully decorated, private 2 bedroom lakefront home that is close to everything! This cozy waterfront home on Crystal Pond, features a large yard, deck and fire pit for your enjoyment. The house features a large, open living room with vaulted ceilings, and large television. Lewiston and Auburn are a short 15 minutes away and the city of Portland or the coast is approximately a one hour drive. It is close to several ski resorts & hiking trails. Grocery stores are a 5 minute drive.

Cozy Hand-Crafted Home on Bear Pond

A cozy escape from the business of life. Tucked just a half mile off route 219 down a camp road on a favorite body of water is this home. The water is warm during the summer and kayaks are ready to slip into the water for a loon encounter or fishing expedition. It’s only 10 minutes to groceries or good restaurants. The access road is a couple miles long and safe for walking. (Shaded and cool from the hot sun. ). Jacuzzi tub in master bedroom. Tv in each bedroom.

Echo Lake Traditional Maine Camp

Authentic Maine camp. Cedar Crest is on pristine Echo Lake in Fayette, ME (20 mins from city of Augusta). A 1950's traditional Maine camp just 25 ft from the lake, with 1,000 sq. ft, 3 bedrooms (sleeps 6), and outdoor space. Renovated with eastern white pine boards, woodstove & a heat pump for cool mornings and night. One bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen that boasts a live edge pine countertop. Unique camp decor. Min 3 nights (min 2 nights Sep/Oct)

Cozy Cottage on a pond in Maine

Enjoy a quiet and peaceful visit to this cottage on a small pond in Maine. This place was renovated by my family and I in 2022 with a brand new wooden deck and stairs leading down to the water in 2023. A full sized bed and the bathroom has a shower and tub. We love to cook so there’s a sprawling kitchen counter and full kitchen with a grill outside on the back deck. Surround yourself with greenery and water and settle in for a cozy visit.

Idyllic Lakeside Cabin Winter Getaway

Situated on a beautiful lake with 350 feet of private shoreline the cabin is ideal for family gatherings or a small group of friends, it is not available for parties and events. A seven day minimum stay (Saturday to Saturday) is required for July and August. Cozy up with board games, a book and enjoy the tranquility. We have firewood on the property for you to use. The docks are not in the water from October to April.

Nearby hiking, skiing (including free XC trails at Robert's Farm Preserve) lakes and several outstanding local restaurants. 40 min to Sunday River/30 min to Mt. Abrams/60 min to Portland (AWD/4WD needed in winter months)

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Escape to our romantic cottage for two overlooking a four-acre field in the Upper Village of New Gloucester. Complete with Queen bed, inside and outside seating areas, coffee maker and accoutrements, bathroom w/shower, robes, hot tub, spa towels, and dinnerware for take-out. A perfect escape!

Twin Pines Cabin at Piper Ranch

Rustic, off the grid, peaceful and private, relax alongside a brook, looking out to a spacious field and rolling hills. There are plenty of trails to just explore the 100 + acres of Piper Ranch or head out to nearby established hiking trails. Our small herd of three Highland Cattle graze the fields most of the year.
