Stone Rise Cottage was built in 1874 and has been renovated to its characterful feel today. Entering through the stable-front door, is a traditional kitchen with all the necessities. Beyond this is the lounge with log burner, beams and doors to the stone terrace. There’s also a quaint dining room for evening meals. Upstairs is a modern, renovated bathroom with bath and traditional shower. There are two double bedrooms, both with an elegant feel and a double wardrobe in the second.

The Conkers is in the picturesque Hamlet of Moorwood Moor on of the edge of the Peak District. There are many walks from the door and 150 yards along the lane is The White Hart Inn where you will experience good food or just enjoy a well-deserved glass of wine. The Conkers delightful garden and orchard area provides a lovely spot for a relaxing drink, or perhaps some alfresco dining after a busy day exploring. There is ample off road secure parking behind automated gates.

The Forge @ Alderwasley

This carefully renovated forge is perfect for a break in the beautiful southern borders of the Peak District National Park. Fabulously converted, this cottage offers an open plan living space with a cosy wood burner, and wonderful views over the open countryside. From its courtyard garden Sunnyside over looks the beautiful Amber Valley and is a superb place to locate yourself for exploring the local countryside and towns such as Matlock, Belper and Cromford.
