The Stables - Farm at Freeburgh on Ovens River

With direct, private access to the Great Valley Trail and the Ovens River, The Stables provides luxurious bespoke accommodation and complimentary mountain bikes for your stay. Located on 10 acres, The Stables is an outbuilding to the family home, along with our farm stay, The Barn. Within 10 minutes to the tourist town of Bright, and in close proximity to Falls Creek and Mt Hotham, only a short 45 minute drive away for hiking & skiing. Horse stays are also an option, with trail riding close by!

Bright Lavender Farm: Mud Brick Miners Cottage 2

This unique and tranquil experience, your very own mud brick cottage set on a lavender farm with sunsets and fantastic views. 5km to Bright Township. Also near by is the Ovens river, autumn colour, rail trail bike path, golf course and walking tracks, Mount Buffalo and its historic chalet. A well equipped kitchen and BBQ on your own veranda. The property even has a private mountain stream. The lavender is in flower from around mid Dec before getting harvested in Feb to make essential oil.

Saje's Pod

Saje's Pod is a two storey self contained unit with private access and parking. It has a queen bed with ensuite and an upstairs living area and kitchenette opening onto a shared deck with a barbecue for use by Pod guests. The Pod also has its own deck. The Pod and the House may be rented together. Saje's House is self contained. It has a fully equipped kitchen and dining room, a comfortable living room, 2 bedrooms - one with a queen bed; the master with a king, 2 bathrooms and a laundry.

Little Bogong

Little Bogong offers a comfortable and private hide-away for one or two couples seeking peace and solitude. Enjoy spectacular outlook to Victoria’s high mountains. The set-up includes a brand new second bathroom and laundry off the main downstairs living area to accompany the quality queen-sized sofa bed. Set on two hectares of steep landscaped grounds, the unique site will take your breath away with its native plantings, visiting kangaroos, native birds, and private outdoor dining space.

Little Farm Accommodation

We are nestled in the foothills of the Victorian Alps,close to Bright. There is a crystal clear stream suitable for trout fishing nearby. Our little farm consists of cattle, chickens, two dogs, chestnuts and blueberries and bountiful Australia wildlife. The cottage(bedsit) is self contained and private, with one double and two single beds plus a very large shady garden with a BBQ and Gazebo. Pets are welcome. We very much welcome international travelers to this beautiful area.

"Mt Buffalo Hazelnuts" is a 53 acre property occupying a stunning elevated location in the Buckland valley with majestic views of Mt Buffalo and surrounds. At its centre is a large and comfortable family home, surrounded by extensive gardens. A tranquil hazelnut orchard extends all around, and up higher is a substantial area of native bushland. The property is secluded and peaceful, yet only minutes to Porepunkah and Bright and all that the region offers.

Bushies Love Shack

Welcome to Bushies Love Shack. The naming of the love shack came about upon purchasing the property some 8 years ago. Fay's father, at the time 90 years of age, and his girlfriend, 91 years of age, automatically named it the Love Shack as they envisaged, once renovated, them sitting in bed, playing cards and taking in the view and so the name stuck. In keeping with the name, we have created a luxurious, romantic space for two.
