Besser Block Beauty

Enjoy your stay in a home that showcases part of what makes Alpena so special! This home was built in 1924 out of Bes-Stone split block from Besser Manufacturing Company, produced at the world headquarters, located here in Alpena. It is just as beautiful today as it was when it was built 100 years ago. This home has surprisingly large rooms, as well as all the modern comforts, including central air! Currently in the process of having this home added to the National Register of Historic Places.

Pike House Park Place is a freshly remodeled, three bedroom house with everything you need to enjoy a getaway in Northern Michigan! It is located across from the entrance to Alpena's Long Lake Park, where you can take advantage of some of the best year-round fishing in the state. Fantastic mountain-biking and hiking at Rockport State Rec. area is a few short miles away. Stay right at Park Place and enjoy a bonfire, indoor and outdoor games, a home-cooked meal, and relax in front of the tv.

This place would be great for a large family or group to get away from the noise of the city. or a group working in the area. Located on 20 acres with a pond, plenty of wild life to see, Located just a few short miles from Lake Huron, Hubbard Lake, and only 15 Minutes from Alpena. A large trail system nearby, for snowmobiles, quads and other off road vehicles. Great place to just sit back and relax. Very Private, nearest neighbor is me, 20 acres away. No hunting or shooting allowed.

Location, View, Hot Tub, Shop, Restaurants, Beach

My place is conveniently located within walking distance of downtown Alpena. There are a variety of restaurants and bars all within 1/4 mile. Lake Huron is my front yard, with tennis and basketball courts available for public use. The Alpena bandshell is a hop and skip from my house; every Saturday there’s a concert in the summer. There are two public beaches within a mile. And you can see masts from sailboats out my front window as the boat harbor is my neighbor.

This modern rustic Up North cabin that offers 120 feet on the Thunder bay river! Cabin is located on a private Rd. which gives you the true Up North feel but is only a 15 minute drive to Alpena! Enjoy fishing, kayaking, tubing, swimming as well as hikes on the nearby state land! Property has it's own boat launch, fire pit and also 6 kayaks (4 adult and 2 kids) for you to use! Cabin also includes WiFi, smart TV, outdoor grill.

Escape to our cozy cabin on the Thunder Bay River, just 15 minutes away from downtown Alpena. It offers 50 feet of water frontage, perfect for a variety of outdoor activities. Whether you're looking to kayak, fish, swim, or simply relax by the water, our cabin has it. In the summer months we do have an additional room in the cabin with a queen size bed and 4 Kayaks for your use.

Welcome to Summerville! Situated on Long Lake in Alpena. It’s large lot offers privacy and plenty of room to enjoy bonfires, and lots of room to let the kids run. Bring your boat, kayaks or paddle boards to take advantage of all that Long Lake has to offer. Located only 7 miles from Alpena it’s only a short drive in to town to explore all that Alpena has to offer.

Beach days and bonfire nights

You'll have a great time at this comfortable place to stay situated on the shores of beautiful Lake Huron. Enjoy a leisurely walk along the Sandy shoreline, kayaking, swimming, grilling and bonfires. Only a 5 mile drive North to Alpena or less than 4 miles to Ossineke and venture to Dinosaur Gardens or Connie's Cafe for breakfast.

Lakefront oasis....Beaver Lake is an all sports 665 acre gem, located in northern Michigan. Enjoy fishing, boating, kayaking or just relaxing on this 77' deep crystal clear inland lake. Guests are welcome to enjoy the aqua-cycle and kayaks. Life jackets can be found in the bedroom closet.
