Cheerful 3 bedroom cottage on the Allegheny River

We built the summer cottage in 2006, for a summer home stayed on. We lived in the cottage 8 years when we wanted a bigger house. We love it year around. We are isolated with 3 neighbors (not close) and the river at our front door. Good boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing, swimming , hiking, bird watching (with a eagle nest across the river). December through February, it is best if you come with 4 wheel drive. Having said that , we keep the road plowed and the hill sanded.

Misty Mountain Cottage

Beautiful, Romantic One Room Cottage. *Kitchen. *Living Room *One Queen Size Bed *Bathroom with a jacuzzi. Towels and Washcloths supplied. *A beautiful back porch to relax and see some amazing sunrises. *Outside Cooking areas. Fire Place and Grill. Wood & Gas supplied. * No pets allowed. A beautiful place to take it easy at this unique and tranquil cottage. Tucked back in the foot hills of Shade Mountain where there are public trails for exploring. At times you may also see some wildlife.

Cottage with Private Allegheny River Access

"Bearly Affordable", located along the Allegheny River nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. The cottage offers private river frontage for canoeing, kayaking, swimming, and fishing. Cottage sleeps 6 and has most of the amenities of home including air conditioning, forced air heat, wood stove, well and septic. Additional staying quarters located in an adjacent cedar Cub House which has 4 beds, 2 lofts, and air conditioning. Cub House Closed for Season. Opens back up April 1st.

The Allegheny A-Frame

An Aframe in the woods off the Allegheny, built for people who want to slow down. Spotless, romantic, and well stocked, this has become one of Pennsylvania's most loved getaways for anniversaries, honeymoons, or just a weekend with nothing on the calendar. Hike the Allegheny National Forest trails, paddle the river, hit the firepit at night, or just play cornhole and Yardzee in the yard. Cozy fireplace, hammock chairs on the loft balcony, AC for summer. Golf and horseback riding nearby too.

Hidden Cove

Beautiful lakefront cottage on Findley Lake. Completely remodeled cozy one-bedroom cottage with two docks, 150 ft. of lake frontage, and boathouse. Tucked away on a quaint woodsy lot, you can enjoy breathtaking sunsets while relaxing around the firepit. Hidden Cove offers a one bedroom with a queen mattress and futon in the living room. The kitchen is fully stocked. Just a few miles from Peak n' Peek resort where you can enjoy skiing, cycling, ziplining, segway tours, and restaurants.

THE EDDY

Nestled in the Allegheny National Forest along the Allegheny River. A cozy home with nearby fishing, hunting, historical landmarks, cross country, skiing, hiking, biking, antique shops, boating, and kayaking/ canoeing. Moments away from adventures nearby including the Kinzua Dam where the Alleghany River is poured from. Peaceful & quiet for relaxation. 😊Pets are permitted an additional cleaning fee is charged. “Must” notify us if planning on having a pet with you on your visit .

15 minutes from Interstate 80! Contact host for seasonal weekday specials! Our 2 houses are nestled among hickory and walnut trees creating a peaceful, quiet atmosphere . Each window of the rustic Carriage House has a unique view of the country beauty. The large windows showcase the shady pond where lily pads abound. Read a book on the cute bridge over the ponds or fish along the banks. The private Jacuzzi tub of the large ground floor bathroom adds to the relaxation!

Little Trout Cottage

Take it easy at this unique & tranquil getaway. Nestled on the banks of Four Mile Run, this quaint cottage invites you to slow down and enjoy all that the Laurel Highlands has to offer. Situated on a stocked trout stream, this small but mighty cottage boasts an amazing creekside deck and outdoor space. Whether recharging from an active day on the many hiking trails, fishing, or staying in to grill, read a book, and take a nap, our cottage will not disappoint! Come and see!

Kingfisher's Perch

4-season cottage with amazing views of the Allegheny River with great wildlife and bird watching (bald eagles). There's a hot tub to relax in after biking (Rails to Trails bike trail), kayaking (2 available), hiking, fishing, playing (playground in the yard), shooting (.22 range in the back yard), or swimming (in the river or local waterfall) all day. Great for families or friend getaways. A home away from home, everything you need, and more for an escape to the woods.

Quaint North East Cottage Near the Water

North East Cottage is a quaint, two level cottage nestled between 16 mile creek and Lake Erie. It offers two bedrooms, one pull-out couch with a queen mattress, two full baths and two large decks overlooking Lake Erie. The kitchen is fully stocked and newly remodeled! The living room provides warmth and coziness with a gas fireplace for cool evenings on the lake. A short walk down the road is a private beach for relaxing and spending the day on Lake Erie.

White Pine Cottage has all the modern amenities you want in a location that's convenient to everything ANF, Cook Forest, Clear Creek State Park, and the Clarion River have to offer. Check us out on FB/IG @whitepinecottage560 The cottage does not have WiFi, however Verizon cell phone reception is good in the area. Other wireless providers may be unreliable. During the winter months we highly recommend using vehicles with 4WD/AWD to access the property.
