Its a 50m walk to the beach and lagoon of the Bushmans River in Kenton on Sea on the E Cape's sunshine coast, and a 5 min drive to the Kariga river lagoon and beach Its an hour's drive to the Addo elephant park and 15 mins to 2 big 5 reserves. The town has lots of restaurants, shops, medical and vet help The house has a comfortable deck, inside and outside dining spaces, and a large well equipped kitchen.

Umthi Lodge: Wildlife, Pool, Power Inverter

Umthi Lodge is a guesthouse on a private nature reserve in South Africa, with views of wild game all around. Situated on the unspoiled natural coastline of the Eastern Cape, with private access to a beautiful beach and lagoon. Sleeps 8 people plus a cot bed. Free unlimited high speed WiFi. The pool is heated all year round, and the house has a Tesla battery and solar system to ensure it always has reliable energy supply. Note: We don't accept bookings of large groups for a weekend.

Ed's Place

Ed's Place is a charming, self-contained cottage with three en-suite bedrooms each having a king-size bed. The living area includes a comfortable TV lounge area, a large dining room table and a well equipped kitchen. The tasteful furnishings give a feel of rustic farmhouse comfort. The quaint, thatched cottage, perched on a high ridge in the Kaba Game Farm, commands a uniquely spectacular view over rolling grasslands, coastal forest, the vast Alexandria dune field and the ocean beyond.

Ideal weekend getaway/longer stay for digital nomads, couples, solo adventurers, small families (double sleeper couch for 2 children), or simply peace & quiet to finish writing that book!

Bushmans River Roost Cottage

In a 2 hectare garden of the River Roost B&B property we offer a self-catering cottage by the Bushmans River. With 2 en-suite bedrooms and a living area with a pull-out sofa the cottage can accommodate 6 guests. Open your sliding doors and fully experience the African nature that surrounds you while you enjoy the views of the river and the ocean. Down by the river there is a private jetty if you would like to moor your boat or fish. You could also try pottery. We give lessons.

Natures Cottage with its breathtaking views is situated on the waters edge of the Bushmans River in an echo estate called Natures Landing. The cottage is totally private and fully secure. From the deck and bedroom you have unsurpassed views of the river as confirmed by numerous reviews. Impala, rooi hartebees, bush buck and nyala freely roam the estate. Over 200 bird species have been identified in the estate. The facility offers a full range of DSTV channels and unlimited Wifi.

The Homestead at Lands End

The Homestead is situated on a family owned and operated game farm. Sleeping 25 people in 6 bedrooms. With fresh Roosterbrood on arrival, you can relax on the hammock, while watching the kids swimming in the pool or wood-fired hot tub, it is the perfect retreat for large families who all want to be together under one roof. Have a dip in the Kariega River, go hiking, fishing, mountain biking, bird watching or game viewing and enjoy spendings your days under our African sky.

Kenton is a small holiday town located between Bushmans and Kariega River. My home is located a 5 minute walk from the beach and shops. It's a simple house with everything you need for a comfy stay. There is a small bakery on the property (unattached), so myself and Brenda the Baker may be around to do some baking in the morning. Simple and unostentatious, great location! Please note that we can only accept guests with positive reviews at this time.

Pura Vida Cottage (inverter & fibre) 2min to beach

Stand alone, self-catering cottage for two in a quiet area, short stroll to the beach/lagoon, shops and restaurants. Off street parking, fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi (Fibre connection) and smart tv. Inverter and water tanks to assist with load shedding. Our housekeeper is available at an additional cost per day. Please do not hire strangers for security reasons. Please note no daily service or laundry facilities.

The Beach Hut guest house is close to Kenton on Sea town centre and a short walk to the blue flag beaches and both rivers.. You’ll love The Beach Hut because of the thatched roof ambiance, the outdoor space and swimming pool..
