Featuring a soaking tub bath area and a hot tub barn . There is a work station desk area complete with high speed wifi internet. The desk is adjustable for sitting or standing. TV in the living room for your entertainment. Totally stocked kitchen with all the things needed to cook with. There is a Keurig coffee station.

Incredible 3 bedroom River Paradise! Amazing three bedroom, 2500 sq. ft home with a wrap- around deck overlooking the river with breathtaking views. The home is stunning with an enormous living room and bedroom suite. Nestled in the woods on 7 acres, you will feel as if you are in a tree house! There is a bridge and trails that lead down to the river. There is also a gazebo and fire area on site. Airbnb no longer allows hosts to allow parties or large gatherings of more than 16 people.

This is a place to slow down, enjoy quiet mornings by the water, and end the day under the stars, while leaving feeling recharged from your stay at our little piece of paradise.

This beautifully renovated home sits on 5.5 acres with an acre pond. Conveniently located near I-55 & I-12 and about 5 min. from S.L.U. & downtown Hammond. Harper's Haven is about 30 min from Baton Rouge & about 45 minutes from downtown New Orleans. Sleeps 6, offering a King size bed, & 2 Queen beds. The kitchen is fully equipped including a Keurig. The Gator Getaway is the perfect escape from reality located in the swampy town of Manchac, Louisiana. It is the ideal place for a stay near the water with no boat required! The historic building was the original Church of Manchac and was remodeled into a home. Located within walking distance to the famous Middendorf's Restaurant! Also nearby is the public boat launch, Sun Buns river bar boat taxi, and other local favorite spots! Located about 40 miles outside of New Orleans.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. Close to highway, the university, and 40 minutes to either New Orleans or Baton Rouge airports. It is 10 minutes to local dining and 45 minutes to Baton Rouge and/or New Orleans. There are 4 kayaks available!

The Yellow Cottage on the River (w/ Dock Access!)

Our quaint yellow cottage sits on a quiet street where you have plenty of space to hear the cicadas and breathe in the Louisiana air. We're situated directly on the Amite River and this cottage is perfect for anyone who loves to fish! We provide a place to dock your boat, and can even recommend the best routes along the river that we often take ourselves. Please note that we do not allow pets at the cottage so get your fur babies a sitter and come on down.

The Blue Heron Guest House-6 acres on the bayou.

Take it easy at this unique getaway. Located on Bayou Manchac on a gated 6 acre estate. The Blue Heron Guest House is a great place to just get away, enjoy nature, canoe (provided), fish the pond or the bayou, birdwatching (lots of birds), etc. The property does have a boat slip and a small boat launch for those who want to explore the area by boat. Bayou Manchac connects to the Amite River nearby. We can’t wait to share our paradise with you!
