An excellent base for mountain biking in Coed-y-Brenin, biking or walking the easy-going Mawddach trail, exploring Snowdonia and visiting the stunning beaches of the West Wales coast.

It has been recently fully renovated to the highest standard with all mod cons, whilst remaining in keeping with its traditional features and natural charm. The Barn at Tan Y Rhiw nestles in the Nanmor valley, surrounded by ancient woodland, with spectacular views of Moel Ddu. A safe place to retreat from the world, and reconnect with nature, over two miles from the main road. Relaxing in the private garden listen to owls hooting or cuckoos calling. Walking from the door leads you to an old drovers track, or higher up through bilberry scrub to Cnicht, the Welsh Matterhorn, or along lanes and paths to secluded swimming spots in rivers and lakes.

There is a hot tub and outdoor shower with an outdoor kitchen, BBQ, fire pit and pellet pizza oven. Underfloor heating throughout. Bedrooms have smart tv and 4g WiFi. A stylish, very spacious 3-bedroom stone cottage, recently refurbished to a high, boutique-style standard. Sleeps 6 people. Chester House is an ideal base for groups of hikers, mountain bikers or families wanting to explore Snowdonia. Dolgellau is a pretty little town, sitting in lovely walking country beneath the Cader Idris mountain range. The sea, and some delightful beaches are just down the road, too! There are lots of restaurants/cafes, pubs and supermarkets within a 5-minute walk.

It is ideally located within the Snowdonia National Park with access to beautiful coastlines and majestic mountains. The barn is well equipped and situated on a quiet country lane.

Nant Y Glyn is a charming, traditional Welsh stone cottage which was build in the early 1800s. We have updated the property to give it a fresh comfortable feel but have retained many original features. One of which is the splendid stone fireplace which now houses a log burning stove. The cottage is nestled within the old part of town, located on a quiet street and within a 2 min walk to the shops and restaurants. There is a small enclosed front patio area.
