A bright, neoclassical and luxurious 55m2 house new construction and short walks away from the heart of Athens historic and business centre, suitable both for unforgettable vacations and professional travels! The house has a fully equipped kitchen, free WiFi access (50Mbps), individual air conditioning system, HDTV, Netflix, 24h hot water. This is a bright, neoclassical and luxurious 55m2 house, new construction and short walks away from the heart of the historic centre. The cosy living room is separated from the bedroom by a handmade wooden stair that assures a romantic stay in the attic of the house! There is also a small patio where you can have your breakfast, enjoy your coffee, a glass of wine and for smoking fans, your cigarette! The house is situated in a quiet neighbourhood with mini markets, grocery stores and beautiful cafes only 10 minutes on foot from Acropolis temple, museum and Plaka. Kerameikos and Monastiraki tube station, as well as Thiseio and Petralona train station are all within walking distance. You can also walk to Psirri, Petralona and Gazi where you can enjoy a variety of cafes and restaurants. Many art studios and galleries within easy walk as well as Ermou, the most popular shopping street. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, free wi-fi access, floor heating, individual air conditioning system, flat screen TV with many satellite channels, 24h hot water. It has one bedroom and a bright new sofa (expandable to a comfortable double bed). It is ideal for couples, friends as well as families with children. The direct metro blue line from Athens International Airport (Kerameikos stop), as well as the green metro line (Thiseio stop) are within walking distance. Don't hesitate for a late or a very late check-in! If desired a comfortable transportation from and to the airport/port at a low cost can be arranged 24/7! The Picturesque 'Acropolis Cozy House' in the Heart of Plaka

Acropolis Cozy House: the name says it all. Here's a house, located right underneath the sacred rock of Acropolis, in the heart of Plaka, the oldest neighborhood of Athens. Earthly colors, wood and unique pieces of art, make up an ideal house for a small family or three people, with two bedrooms and 1.5 baths, on three different levels. At first you'll be drawn to this house for three simple reasons: location, location, location! It's within walking distance of almost everything you will want to visit in Athens. The Ground floor of the house consists of the living room, an open plan kitchen and a W.C. Right outside, there is the patio with comfortable sitting and also a rather unique feature: an outside bar. Here, along with your drink, you can enjoy great views of the surrounding city and the neighboring hill of Lycabettus. The First floor consists of a spacious master bedroom with a queen size bed. A wooden staircase leads upstairs to the attic, where a single bed can accommodate one guest. There is visual contact between the attic and the master bedroom. At the lower level of the house, under the living room, there is a wine cellar, complete with wine bottles and the exposed brickwork of the house's foundation. If you choose to visit, we believe you will agree with us, we haven't named it the Acropolis Cozy House for nothing! It really promises a warm, hospitable stay and a trully memorable vacation! Our visitors enjoy the whole property with privacy. Upon your arrival, we will welcome you and show you the house. We will be at your disposal during your whole stay, to answer any questions you might have or give you ideas and instructions concerning places worth visiting. Around the house there are various shops like supermarkets, mini markets, bakeries, etc. There are coffee shops for a morning coffee, as well as great local tavernas and restaurants to enjoy lunch and dinner in the center of Athens. Acropolis Garden House is situated 5 min. walking distance from Monastiraki, Syntagma and Acropolis metro station.

House at the Foothills of Acropolis

On a regular summer day I used to sleep on the rooftop in a hammock, surrounded by the bougainvillea and lemon trees under the imposing rock of the Acropolis. In the winter, I played board games with my classmates by the fireplace. No doubt, I consider myself spoiled growing up a stone’s throw away from the Parthenon and the newly established Acropolis Museum. The cradle of democracy, the birth of theater and philosophy, temples and Byzantine churches, an Ottoman era mosque, bars, restaurants, cafes, monuments, ancient arches are all a few minutes stroll from my maternal house. History is everywhere and it is inescapable. Yet, modern Athens has more to offer. The local flea market at Monastiraki, the meat, fish, and vegetable markets of Athinas Street, and lastly Ermou, the city’s main shopping street are all a mere 10 minutes walk away from the apartment. Situated in Parthenon’s shadow, 5 minutes by foot from the Acropolis metro station, the apartment extends over two hundred square meters (2,156 square feet). Two bedrooms, a large kitchen, two bathrooms and a WC, a spacious living room encompassing a study, a balcony, a roof garden with a permanent dinner table, and an indoor patio which doubles as breakfast area are all placed right in the hustle and bustle of Plaka; the center of classical, medieval and early modern Greece. The house is located in the top floor of a two level late 19th century period building. It has been recently renovated and offers all 21st century amenities in a space overflowing with Mediterranean light. It can accommodate up to 6 people and is ideal for families and small groups traveling through Greece. Yet, the starting price level does not exclude couples or a pair of friends. After all, luxury and exclusivity were not in the vocabulary of democratic Athens. I would be more than eager to host you through airbnb and give you a tone of tips on your stay in Europe’s oldest city. Specialized tour guides can be arranged at an extra cost.

Στην ταράτσα του όποιος καθίσει έχει την ευκαιρία να δει την Αθήνα από το ψηλότερο δυνατό σημείο και να αισθανθεί την θετική ενέργεια του μέρους το οποίο όχι τυχαία επέλεξαν οι αρχαίοι Έλληνες για να φτιάξουν ένα από τα επτά θαύματα του κόσμου!
