The only place to get Wa cuisine here in Yangon. A little pricey, but a good place to try something different.

Root has definitely planted some appetizing ethnic roots in Yangon. Opened just over a year ago by two sisters from Myanmar’s Wa State special region in Northern Shan State, this cafe and bar is the only spot dedicated to fresh Wa food and drinks in Yangon.
