Within the neighborhood you will find easy access to wonderful restaurants, coffee shops, and pubs. In the morning, Beans is just a couple of blocks and an easy walk away. Monnick, a great micro-brew with excellent food is just around the corner. Across the street is Check’s, a Louisville landmark with burgers and such. On Goss Ave you can find a great pizza place called the Post. Four Pegs next door offers a great burger. There's so much more in our neighborhood to check out!

We have everything you need for a cozy stay in any season of the year: High Speed Wifi, large work desk off the kitchen (right next to the Internet Modem) that converts to a Breakfast Table, a comfy couch that converts to a futon in the living room, a flat screen tv with Netflix ready to go, a comfy queen size bed with plenty of pillows, a fully equipped kitchen with a Keurig and French Press, Pancake Cook Top, a Full Size Bathroom with shower, tub and everything you need to get sqeaky clean.

Please do let us know if someone in your reservation will need to use the futon in the living room to sleep on. That way we can make sure to lay out linens and pillows for the person sleeping there. We do ask that if you use the futon for sleeping you prepare to tip the cleaner $10 to cover their time laundering those linens after your stay.

Our place is in the heart of Germantown. Within the neighborhood you will find easy access to wonderful restaurants, coffee shops, and pubs. In the morning, Beans is just a couple of blocks and an easy walk away. They have great coffee and bagels in the morning. Monnick is also just around the corner. Monnick is a great micro-brew with excellent food. Across the street is Check’s, a Louisville landmark with burgers and such. On Goss Ave you can find the Post. A great pizza place with a good selection of micro-brews. Four Pegs next door offers a great burger. Down the street you will find Mr. Lee’s, a high end bar with a speakeasy feel. It is a don’t miss within this great little neighborhood. Just 4 doors down you will find a great restaurant in the Lydia House. They have wonderful food and great drink specials.
There are several other “dive” bars and great restaurants, all like the ones listed above, within walking distance.

Kroger grocery on Goss Avenue is just a few minutes away for all of your food and beverage needs!
