A wonderful opportunity to spend one or more nights in the central south of Iceland, close to both restaurants, shops, and places of interest such as Gullfoss, Geysir, Þingvellir and Reykjadalur.

The house is newly built with an independent second floor accessible from the entrance hall. Guests have access to a large garden with playground for children, domestic animals and various wild birds. Walking- and horse-riding paths surround the area, with a view on the volcanoes Eyjafjallajökull and Hekla. The room features a private bathroom, microwave oven, kettle and wi-fi.
Breakfast can be provided for 13 € per guest.

Tjarnabyggð is a new residential area halfway between Selfoss and Eyrarbakki. In the springtime and summer many species of birds come and nest in the area. In the wintertime, northern lights can often be seen, as the street lighting has been kept to a minimum.
