We will ride on our bicycles through our hometown making our way to three different cenotes around our community. Physical wear with the bicycles is minimum. We spend most of the time in the water. Come experience the wonderful world of the honeybee where we encourage you to take pictures. We begin our 1 1/2 hour experience near Tampa, Florida. I have several different locations to choose from ranging from Farm to urban areas. The address showing will not be the place that you will have your experience. After you book I will send out the location. It will be either Lutz, Odessa, or S. Saint Petersburg. If you book first, I can be flexible as to location. We will begin with a demonstration of the equipment used in beekeeping as well as dressing up in our full bee suits and then immediately start the hands-on experience. At this point you will be able to see, feel, hear and touch apis mellifera (the European honey bee!) as I guide you to a better understanding of these amazing creatures. During our time together you will manipulate equipment, ask questions and get a practical appreciation of the bees. After, you will enjoy a refreshment while we discuss your recent experiences. Upon completion, we provide a 5 oz honey jar and honey dipper to say thank you for being a beekeper for a day! Things to note: PLEASE BRING BOOTS or Tennis shoes. There is always a chance of getting stung, So if you are allergic to bees please choose a different experience. We want you to come away feeling alive and in tune with the natural world. You will be wearing a full bee suit.

Your 1.5+ hour interactive nature experience with the bees begins with a multimedia overview of the life of a bee. You’ll see a hive and learn how to hold a frame (without squishing the bees -they don’t like that). We’ll get suited up. Light a smoker. Do a safety check, and approach the hive. At the hive you’ll see and feel the power of propolis (a supplement for humans as well) -- its the glue bees use to seal up the hive. We’ll lift the lid and go inside. For some, that’s might be as far as they want to go. But, if you’re adventurous, we will do a complete hive inspection: Pull frames to see how the bees create honey and keep the colony alive. You’ll see open “wet cells” of nectar that are still in the process of transforming into honey. You’ll see capped honey, tiny freshly laid eggs and all the stages of bee development ( larvae, caped brood, and newly emerging “baby bees”). I’ll show you how beekeepers help control pests (other insects and diseases) and keep the bees healthy so they can do their important work. You’ll hold frames of bees and feel the weight of a full frame of honey when compared to a frame of bees. There’s always time for selfies. You’ll sample honey & enjoy a cold beverage sweetened with honey. This is Ecco tourism with some of mother nature’s most important workers.

Conocerás la abeja melipona sin aguijón y podrás degustar su miel y aprender un poco mas acerca de la polinización y la vida y costumbres de este insecto declarado recientemente por la ONU el ser vivo mas importante del planeta. Tras la visita emprenderemos al melipona río nos dirigiremos a nuestra unidad de manejo ambiental para conocer de cerca las actividades e iremos por un sendero en la jungla hasta llegar a 200 metros a un magnifico cenote subterráneo donde podrás zambullirte y nadar en sus aguas iluminadas y cristalinas.

Finally, we will enjoy tasting the different plates that we prepared and, in that moment, when we are laughing and sharing our personal stories under the rhythm of drums, you will realize that the simple act of eating assumes mystical dimensions and has the power to bring strangers together like family. At the end of the day you will know how flavors, music and dance tell the story of the desires and struggles of our African ancestors. This experience focuses on the difficult process of making a cigar. From the hand of an experienced cigar roller we will learn to make an examplar, we will explain all the specificities that accompany the process of making this product, from the time it is grown, until it reaches your hands. This will be the perfect time for our CIGAR CHALLENGE, after which we will reward the best cigar roller of the experience. After choosing our winner (special ceremony included), we will go on to what we consider to be an authentic ritual: the smoking of the habano, action that we will combine with other delights, giving way to an excellent pairing among cigars, rum and coffee. And then, SURPRISE, a second contest!! We will be competing among each other to select the person who manages to keep the longest cigar ash, and the one who best performs some other tricks we will be teaching you. This is called: LONG ASH CONTEST. Akumal es el “Lugar de las Tortugas” en lengua Maya. Este santuario es un refugio y área protegida para las tortugas marinas. Nosotros; Martín y Melqui somos guías locales, qué crecimos desde niños en esta pequeña comunidad. Para nosotros es un privilegio llevarte a hacer snorkeling y nadar con tortugas blancas, verdes, con suerte peces de colores, arrecife de coral, rayas, calamares, y barracudas. ¿Estás list@ para cenotear? Visitaremos 2 cenotes y 1 hacienda (hermoso edificio histórico) en este día de aventura en la jungla maya y probablemente (con suerte) los tendremos solo para nosotros (según la temporada y el día) o al menos no encontraremos una multitud en ellos. (Perfecto para familias, parejas, grupos de amigos y viajeros solos). El primero es un cenote de caverna, con agua azul safiro (no fría) desde donde apreciaremos hasta el fondo del mismo. El segundo cenote es un círculo abierto de forma perfecta con una increíble agua esmeralda rodeado por árboles. Disfruta de las impresionantes vistas de estas formaciones rocosas con millones de años mientras nadas, exploras, flotas, ¡saltas desde casi 10 mts! (solo para los más aventureros) o simplemente te relajas en cada uno de estos cenotes tomando fotos. Permaneceremos de 45 mins a 1 hra (dependiendo de ti) en cada cenote, sin prisas. Meet your experienced ghost tour guide in the lobby of the Lakeside Inn for a two-hour interactive tour of this historic hotel. The property has many stories of paranormal activity collected by employees, guests, and overnight investigations that we have participated in. Guests are issued EMF detectors, and we welcome to you bring your own equipment to try to capture evidence. We do ask that the equipment doesn't disturb other guests and is handheld. We will be investigating different parts of the hotel and different locations in town. Sept-Feb tours meet at 6:45 with a 7pm start time. March-August tours meet at 7:45 with a 8pm start time. Customized times can be made for larger groups.

Un viaje a la historia, ecología y aventura, todo inicia en el centro histórico de Sisal, lugar icónico de incursiones de piratas y exportación del henequén. (Sisal, primer puerto comercial de Yucatán) Iniciamos un recorrido desde la plaza, salimos del pueblo y recorremos senderos de manglares, para luego hacer actividades de aventura como kayak y nado en ojo de agua, de igual manera observaremos aves, en especial flamencos. Finalizamos la actividad de historia y naturaleza y damos paso a la preparación de un ceviche de pescado esto con la ayuda de los visitantes, unos pican las verduras, mientras otros marinan el pescado para luego degustarlo entre todos. esto se hace en la casa del anfitrión.

The current cost per car is $25, if you have an NPS annual pass it's free (this is $80 a year (over 62=free you must apply in advance)). Drive west past the booth to Langdon Pavilion (Langdon Beach), where you'll meet your guide. Get ready for your perfect day of fun immersed nature. 2-5 people = 25% off 6-10 people = 30% off Off we go on the trail head (toward the sound side) to enjoy each others company and learn the history of Fort Pickens. We will traverse (West) on sandy trails beneath the pines and take in the fresh air, where we can enjoy views of the water. We may see various birds like osprey or an eagle. You may also receive information and advice about Pensacola from your guide. I will lay out a picnic tablecloth (and provide water and a light snack) and we'll enjoy a view by the water and/or surroundings. After we've explored enough we will head back to the parking lot. This is where our tour concludes. After you can see the rest of the Fort by vehicle or bike if you like. If you don't see a specific date available just message me. Hike is 3.1 miles there and back (5k).
