A former professional in the hospitality management business with an emphasis in the food & beverage aspect of this same world, Laurel Cottage was designed and constructed on an acre of private land on Johns Island to act as a sanctuary in which to live close to the island of Kiawah in which I was employed. The Sunburst is in a wonderful location, very close to Center Street, local grocery store Bert's, Chico Feo and a short one block walk to the beach. It has a private entrance with outdoor porches on both floors. The Boathouse

We call it the Boathouse, but it could just as easily be called the treehouse. It sits just feet from a tidal creek amidst giant live oak trees. A short dock is right outside the door, so bring your kayaks or other small craft. Although cozy, it offers everything a simple cottage should. Shem Creek is minutes away, as are the beaches. Patriot's Point and parks are a short walk away. This is the closest residential neighborhood to Charleston that you will find in Mt Pleasant. ST250324 BL24-000442
