Come experience the wonderful world of the honeybee where we encourage you to take pictures. We begin our 1 1/2 hour experience near Tampa, Florida. I have several different locations to choose from ranging from Farm to urban areas. The address showing will not be the place that you will have your experience. After you book I will send out the location. It will be either Lutz, Odessa, or S. Saint Petersburg. If you book first, I can be flexible as to location. We will begin with a demonstration of the equipment used in beekeeping as well as dressing up in our full bee suits and then immediately start the hands-on experience. At this point you will be able to see, feel, hear and touch apis mellifera (the European honey bee!) as I guide you to a better understanding of these amazing creatures. During our time together you will manipulate equipment, ask questions and get a practical appreciation of the bees. After, you will enjoy a refreshment while we discuss your recent experiences. Upon completion, we provide a 5 oz honey jar and honey dipper to say thank you for being a beekeper for a day! Things to note: PLEASE BRING BOOTS or Tennis shoes. There is always a chance of getting stung, So if you are allergic to bees please choose a different experience. We want you to come away feeling alive and in tune with the natural world. THE TOUR: We will focus on Ybor City and will include the following: meeting at the local, well-known craft brewery Coppertail Brewing Co.; visiting the José Martí Park and Vicente Martinez Ybor's Cigar Factory to learn about Cuba's historical connection with Ybor City; visiting the many retail and boutique cigar shops to see people handing-roll cigars, as well as (time permitting) visiting a number of other local breweries and local establishments on 7th Ave (La Séptima), Ybor's "Main Street,” before returning to Coppertail Brewing Co. Participants are encouraged to make a reservation to dine at the Columbia Restaurant (founded in 1905) at the conclusion of the tour. This trip is for the individual who wants to engage in an authentic and historic Tampa walking experience. If you'd like a more individualized experience, I can tailor a more customized tour based on your specific areas of interest. For this, I would need a minimum of 4 participants. A smiling face will greet you as soon as you arrive at our launch site. We will provide you with ice cold drinking water, a waterproof bag to protect your cellphone, keys, wallet, etc. We'll walk down to the kayak launch area and go over all safety precautions including proper use of your life jacket & provide a detailed paddle lesson. Once we are ready to paddle, we will embark on a two hour kayak adventure exploring beautiful Sarasota Bay and the world famous Lido Key mangrove tunnels. I'll tell you all about the interesting history of our beautiful bay as well as talk to you about the incredible flora and fauna we encounter! If we are lucky, we may even be visited be amazing dolphins and gentle manatees. Then, we will journey through Lido Key's spectacular mangrove tunnels while we learn of their importance to our coastal ecosystem. Once our tour is over, we will send you on your way with memories that will last a lifetime. Take a clear kayaking adventure through Shell Key Preserve, a tropical paradise with unique marine habitats. Your knowledgeable ecotour guide will welcome you and provide brief paddling and safety instructions. Then, you’ll be loaded into your tandem clear kayak and off on a 2-hour adventure! Your tour guide leads the way around the mangrove islands, through the shallows, and to the beach. If the tide is high, your guide will show you a hidden mangrove tunnel. You’ll also take a break at Shell Key Beach, where you can collect shells, take in the views, and be surrounded by nature. Your guide will be happy to take plenty of photos, provide awesome unique facts, and make sure you have fun along the way! While in the preserve, be on the lookout for a Manatee or the beautiful pink Roseate Spoonbills in the summer months. White Pelicans call the sandbars of Shell Key Preserve their home during the winter months! Dolphins frolic in crystal-clear waters throughout the year, and cormorants love to swim alongside your kayak. Don’t forget to look through your clear kayak for a unique view of the ecosystems that are underwater! Chances are that you’ll see a variety of wildlife, but sightings are random and not guaranteed.

This is an experience you'll never forget; equal parts serene and adventurous and appropriate for all ages and experience levels! My glass bottom kayaks are the only of it's kind on the Silver River! They come with a sit-in-top design, which means they are well suited to all-weather paddling. The cockpit is dropped lower into the boat, which means stability is greatly increased, paddler comfort is enhanced, and wave impact is reduced. It's nearly impossible to tip or flip! Meet your experienced ghost tour guide in the lobby of the Lakeside Inn for a two-hour interactive tour of this historic hotel. The property has many stories of paranormal activity collected by employees, guests, and overnight investigations that we have participated in. Guests are issued EMF detectors, and we welcome to you bring your own equipment to try to capture evidence. We do ask that the equipment doesn't disturb other guests and is handheld. We will be investigating different parts of the hotel and different locations in town. Sept-Feb tours meet at 6:45 with a 7pm start time. March-August tours meet at 7:45 with a 8pm start time. In Ybor City, we'll do a "light history" and brief walking tour to visit some of the unique places Ybor has to offer. This entails also learning about the connection Ybor historically has had with Cuba. After learning about the rich history of Ybor City, we will drive to an adjacent community (the Heights) to explore some of the newest and trendiest parts of the city. Depending on your preference, this can include, among other options, visiting local breweries, cigar bars, and/or coffee shops. If booked by one group, this experience can be custom tailored to your liking. Whether you prefer history over brewery, cigars over cervezas, or just want to ride around town in, listening to music and taking in the sites, that is completely fine with us. This 4-hour customizable experience is ideal for people of all ages and interests. Guests Meet our yacht at the Hotel Zamora boat dock in St. Pete Beach and depart for a 3 hour tour of St Pete Beach, Pass-a-grille, Terra Verde, Shell Key, the Gulf of Mexico, and Bunces Pass. The tour will include dolphin watching and anchoring for relaxing on the yacht, wading to the beach, shelling, searching for sand dollars, or swimming.

We offer the Ultimate Adventure on our Glass Bottom LED illuminated Kayak Sunset to Night Tours! The extremely powerful self developed underwater light system that we use illuminates the sea floor and sea-life! We'll start off in mangrove canals and then visit mangrove shorelines and look for different species of seabirds & learn about the mangroves and their benefits. Then we'll explore the Amazing grass flats and look for different crustaceans, stingrays and fish. It's also a regular hangout for Manatees as well.
